this gives me something else to obsess over instead of the wedding...which i don't even want to talk about anymore, just be freakin' July already!

Anyway, i'm at work, and i have NOTHING to do. All of my wedding projects are done so i can't even do something fun!!
bleck.

We are starting to look at places to live. This area is so expensive, it kills me. Looks like we'll be in an apt for the first year at least, until we can save enough for a decent down payment. i don't want a 'starter' home. i want the home for my life. First time home buyer and i want to use that advantage to something that will be with us for the longhaul.

So since my last update of my grandmother passing away, this is what has happened.

my other grandmother passed 9 days after her. My father was still in Portugal for the other grandmother and came home to bury his mom. This time has def. made me a stronger person, whether i wanted to be or not.

Work is good. just pays the bills, not hard, not too boring.

Simple Elegance has been SLOW. Being a wedding planner in these parts doesn't pay the bills. :(

Wedding is totally planned, now we just sit and wait until July 28, 2007, which may i add is KILLING me.

so yea, that's it.

I do read at least twice a week and catch up on whats going on with everyone, but just don't always have the time to respond.

I'm going to be better at this. i swear. i've kept this thing since 99, and theres no reason i should be stopping like this lately, it's pathetic.

Well with all the craziness that has been going on, i decided to post this. my mom's mom was in the hospital for the same thing my dad's mom was, and she went in the same my dad's mom did as well. Sadly she didn't make it past last night.
everything feels like it's in fast forward right now.

I've been super freaking busy and have had no time to do anything.
I'm going to do bullets on updating, cause at this point it may just be easier

1. my business was voted Boston's Best Wedding Planner-wahoo! this has brought on a bagillion requests within the past 2 week.

2. the company was also featured in the Boston Elegant Wedding magazine on how to host a party by ME! hehe so weird.

3. With the good, comes the bad. Paul's mom has been diagonised with pancreatic cancer. they can't do surgery to remove the tumor because it is also in the liver a little. shes going to be doing 5 weeks of chemo and radiation 5 days a week. Please send all your prayers this way. we need them, as her youngest son is only 8 and they have already lost their father. it's been trying but we are all remaining positive. This is the woman who was infected with HIV for 2 years and went to some healer and all of a sudden, they can't find any HIV in her system anymore. I know she can pull through, but we are also preparing for the worst.

4. My grandmother is currently in the hospital with a lung infection, so more prayers this way as well.

5. My new job is fantastic, and i love everything about it.

6. Once we meet with the Limo people today ( www.rockstarlimo.net ) we will be DONE with all of our planning...and i mean DONE. all thats left is the girls to purchase their dresses in Nov. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

7. Weight Watchers is fantastic.

8. New labtop coming this wonderful tax free weekend.

9. We have been looking at places to live and looks like we will be settling down in Fall River for the time being. Reasons-close to work, cheap rent. It's called Castle Courts ( www.aimco.com ) and i love the place. You drive through and everyone waves. i love it.

and ummm thats all i can think of right now.

Please note that i DO read everyone's journals, and those who don't update anymore, i know what you mean. It's just hard to find the time to sit here and type it all out.
I use to like this outlet for my thoughts, and may be back with all the difficult stuff thats coming. So you may see my more often :)
